Job Description

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility:

Tactical, hands-on Creative Director to lead Eurofins Viracor's creative strategy and deliver engaging content that meets the expectations of our customers and internal company needs. Help us define what stories to tell, to whom, and where it matters to fill a gaping need to tell more human, creative, and empathetic stories in healthcare. This role requires a deep understanding of life sciences and healthcare customers and uncovering key insights that build strong brands, change behavior, and drive positive health outcomes. This will be a high-visibility, high-impact role that works across the marketing team (Product Marketing, Social Media, Events) and with direct visibility to Viracor's broader leadership team.

Essential Job Duties

  • Ensure the healthcare provider and/or patient is represented in both the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Develop and manage the brand story, vision, identity across all media platforms and channels
  • Create content, communications, and experiences that engage and inspire our clients' customers to act
  • Create and evolve standards for content strategy documentation, including content inventories, audits, value propositions, strategies, migration plans, content models, message maps, editorial calendars, and content playbooks
  • Create and execute campaigns across traditional and digital media: collateral, print advertising, social media, email, videos
  • Manage agencies and PR consultants for work across disciplines
  • Lead relationship with digital agencies to define project scope and deliverables
  • Responsible for the creative conceptualization of messaging, content & visual design for brands, product launch, campaigns, events and website - for Viracor, Transplant Diagnostics, Clinical Diagnostics Group, Oncology
  • Work with Product Marketing Managers to outline campaign strategy, audience, tactics, budget and timeline (both print and digital) for: Brand, Test Categories, Assay Launch, Seasonal, New Products, Events, etc.
  • Finalize key UVPs for verticals with Product Marketing Managers
  • Coordinate key campaign tactics and responsibilities with Product Marketing Manager & Creative Coordinators
  • Manage relationship with outside creative agencies for production of brand and campaign deliverables as needed
  • Support Director of Marketing to create 3-5 year marketing plan
  • Manage master calendar with product marketing managers/coordinators for all campaigns and deliverables
  • Coordinate the deployment of all tactics, assist with deployment as needed
  • Oversee corporate and brand communications - PR, memos, articles, support executives as needed
  • Creation of corporate, brand and product logos and assist with branding of product names
  • Oversee digital initiatives with Social Media Coordinator (SEO, social media calendar/graphics/content)
  • Creation of graphics/images for associate/executive presentations

    Qualifications

    Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Bachelor's degree required, MBA highly preferred
    • 6+ years total experience
    • 6+ years product management experience
    • 6+ years in medical device and/or laboratory/diagnostic industry preferred
    • Strong strategic, analytical, and technical skills
    • Strong upstream and downstream experience and skills
    • Strong knowledge of immunology and allergy clinical experience
    • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary
    • Creative thinker and problem solver
    • Ability to multi-task, work on multiple projects with good organizational skills
    • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills

        Physical Requirements
        • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
        • Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
        • Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
        • Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgments and decisions
