This position offers an opportunity to serve as a paraprofessional within a K-12 school setting in Olathe, Kansas. The role is based on a contract for the current school year (CSY) and involves providing essential support to teachers and students, helping to enhance the learning environment and promote student success. Key Responsibilities: - Assist classroom teachers with instructional tasks and student supervision - Support students with individualized learning needs and accommodations - Help manage classroom materials and maintain a positive, organized learning environment - Collaborate with educators and staff to implement educational plans and activities - Monitor student progress and behavior, reporting as needed to teachers and administrators Desired Qualifications and Experience: - Experience working in educational settings, preferably with K-12 students - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and students - Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse learner needs - Basic knowledge of classroom management and educational support strategies Location: - Olathe, Kansas This contract role for the current school year provides the chance to make a meaningful difference in students educational experiences.
