or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position is
for a Paraprofessional role supporting a student on a 1:1 basis at
an elementary school in Lees Summit, MO. The assignment runs from
April 6th through May 28th, with work hours from 8:30 AM to 3:55
PM. The student may exhibit behaviors including aggression, so
candidates must be comfortable managing challenging behaviors and
assisting with toileting as needed. Key responsibilities include:
Providing direct behavioral and educational support to the assigned
student Implementing behavior management strategies and supporting
positive outcomes Assisting with personal care and toileting when
necessary Collaborating with school staff and following established
protocols for behavior interventions Qualifications and desired
experience: Active paraprofessional certification or equivalent
credentials required Experience working with students exhibiting
challenging behaviors preferred MANDT or CPI training required or
preferred to ensure safe and effective behavior management Ability
to work independently and follow supervision guidelines as
necessary Comfortable handling physical and behavioral needs in a
school setting Location: Elementary school in Lees Summit, Missouri
This is a contract role for the spring term with potential for
extension or additional opportunities. The position involves close
collaboration with special education staff and requires
professionalism and reliability. Qualified candidates who meet the
