or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. Support students
across multiple schools in a dynamic paraprofessional role within a
large school district in Kansas City, Missouri. This position
offers the opportunity to provide essential assistance in special
education classrooms across elementary, middle, and high schools on
a flexible, contract basis for approximately 1.5 to 2 weeks
starting soon. Responsibilities include: - Floating to various
schools within the district to cover paraprofessional and
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) absences - Supporting students
either 1:1 or in general classroom settings - Assisting with
toileting and personal care as needed - Adapting to varying
schedules between 7:00 AM and 4:20 PM depending on the school site
- Collaborating with special education teams to support
individualized education plans and classroom needs Ideal candidates
will demonstrate: - Experience working as a paraprofessional or
similar role, especially in special education environments -
Comfort and skill in toileting and personal care assistance -
Flexibility to adapt to variable hours and multiple locations
within the district - An active Substitute Certificate listed on
the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
(DESE) website - Positive communication skills and reliability in a
fast-paced, evolving school setting This contract role offers
between 7.5 and 37 hours per week depending on district needs, with
the potential for conversion to full-time status based on
performance and availability of permanent positions. Benefit from
