Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World Secret Cleared Program Manager Program Manager Lee's Summit, MO Program Manager - Lee's Summit PAE delivers essential operations management and professional services to federal Government agencies. PAE has an opportunity for a Program Manager to join our team supporting our program in Lee's Summit, MO. The full-time on-site Program Manager (PM) is responsible for oversight of contract operations across the NBC facilities. The PM shall be ultimately accountable for all work performed in accordance with contractual requirements, performance requirements, PRs, and customer feedback forms. The Program Manager will also be responsible for the following: Essential duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:

  • You will be responsible for program management, operations and for fully meeting all contractual requirements for Government contract.
  • Supervise and coach Site Operations Managers on a daily basis.
  • Manage all aspects of the program and ensure that the quality of all program operations meet established standards
  • Ensure that appropriate reports and tracking mechanisms are in place to ensure that the programs are well managed financially and contractually.
  • Ensure that contract deliverables are prepared and delivered on time.
  • Review monthly invoices, work with billing department and program managers to ensure accurate Invoicing to clients
  • Ensure that appropriate and required reports and briefings on the status and condition of the program as well as its compliance with contract requirements are prepared and presented.
  • Act as the overall manager and administrator for contract efforts
  • Serve as the working level primary interface and point of contact (POC) with Government program authorities and representatives as needed on program and contract administration issues
  • Supervise program operations by developing management procedures and controls, planning and directing project execution, and monitoring and reporting progress
  • Manage acquisition and employment of program resources
  • Manage and control financial and administrative aspects of the program with respect to contract requirements.
  • Expertly plan, organize, direct and track all functional program details to include schedules, costs and milestones.
  • Effectively collaborate with a variety of customers on activities including the program's accomplishments and successes as well as issues or conflicts that require resolution.
  • Conduct periodic training and quality assistance visits and conducts inspections and/or internal quality audits of contract operations and offices.
  • Produce & track financial and management reports and will brief Senior Management on overall program status.
  • Responsible for the profit and loss (P&L) of the programs.
  • Manage and mentor diverse and geographically dispersed program personnel to direct and motivate toward successful outcomes and mission success.
  • Routinely review contract performance with the customer and company management.
  • Oversee the preparation of responses to requests for information
  • Support proposal preparation activities for recompetes and new program pursuits
  • Execute other duties as needed for overall successful performance of the contracts.
  • Development of individual program and contract budgets.
  • Monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals The Basic Qualifications for this position are as follows:Must currently hold and be able to maintain a Secret level security clearance Minimum Experience, Education and Licensure:
    • Bachelor's degree ( The Bachelor's degree shall be in one of the following disciplines: program management, business or public administration, technical management, information systems, finance, accounting, or related fields.)
    • Minimum of ten years of comprehensive project management experience and at least five years of comprehensive project management experience must be in the Government contracts environment
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable. PMP certification acceptable in lieu of educational requirements. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
      • Demonstrated experience in managing complex, high dollar programs, projects, or contracts ($200 million or more for a lifecycle).
      • Demonstrated experience in meeting deadlines and coordinating the planning and implementation of project activities.
      • Successfully demonstrated experience in addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction, developing and implementing operations procedures and policies, analyzing training needs and requirements, demonstrating good decision-making skills, demonstrating detail-oriented abilities, and successfully responding to high-pressure situations.
      • Demonstrated time management skills to plan, manage, and coordinate the agility of multiple staff members over a sustained period of time.
      • Proactive in informing the Government of significant issues, and be able to respond and take corrective action to issues brought by the government's Program Manager or COR.
      • Proactive in identifying and recommending new approaches to improve quality, cost, and process efficiencies.
      • Demonstrated ability to conduct fact finding for special projects and/or respond timely to government inquiries
      • Able to present oral briefings to government agency management officials
      • Excellent writing skills to prepare SOPs and revisions
      • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
      • Strong leadership skills and ability to handle problems quickly and effectively
      • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team and fast pace environment.
      • Ability to show initiative and commitment to the company's goals.
      • Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements.

      • Positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction. Work Environment: This position is performed in a traditional office environment. Physical Demands: Ability to Lift up to 20 lbs, bend, reach, carry, stoop, kneel, climb, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell.
