will be the initial face of the company with independent adjusters
and insurance carriers. - They will manage all aspects of the
insurance claim while driving positive outcomes for all parties
involved. - A positive impact will be made through negotiation to
ensure claims are paid accurately and profitably. - Qualified
individuals will proactively communicate and keep polite pressure
on claim progression with adjusters and clients to maintain a
reasonable schedule. - Project Managers play a key role by assuming
full responsibility for the settlement review, profitability, job
estimating, job planning, billing, scheduling, reporting,
completion and quality of all projects assigned to them. -
Coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, and assistant project
managers and proactively communicating effectively with clients on
a clear and regular basis is essential to the success of the
project(s). - This person demonstrates strong leadership, attention
to detail, and a desire to provide clients, crews, suppliers and
teammates with remarkable experiences.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Claims Management -- Manages and drives prompt and positive
settlement outcomes for clients by advancing claims steadily
through settlement.
- Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable (LMA) -- supervise and
coordinate project workflow on projects, subcontractors, crews,
suppliers, safety personnel and any additional project related
teammates such as carriers and adjusters.
- Client Support Functions -- communicate clearly and effectively
with clients and location managers including weekly progress
reports and post-project completion satisfaction.
- Remarkable Experience -- deliver remarkable experiences for DHI
Commercial clients, crews, suppliers, adjusters, client carriers
and DHI teammates.HOW YOU'LL MAKE IMPACT
- Final damage evaluation and assessment of client roofs and
building exterior elements post-severe weather events.
- Determine accurate and complete scope of loss using Xactimate
and provide estimate for adjusters claim report.
- Coach clients through all phases of the claims process.
- Weekly management and communication of the status of the claim
progress on behalf of the client.
- Oversee the supplementing and negotiation of the claim before,
during and after projects.
- Plan and oversee all pre-build items including permit
obtainment and code fulfillments to ensure all procedures, rules,
regulations and promulgated laws governing the project are well
adhered to.
- Create and execute the overall plan for a profitable build
including scheduling of materials and crew, order of build and
expected timeline of completion.
- Communicating effectively in verbal and written form with team,
crews, suppliers, locations managers/residents and clients.HOW

- Bachelor's degree preferred. Will consider relevant work
experience in lieu of degree
- A minimum of 5 years full-time construction experience with
supervisory experience
- Solid familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and G-suiteWORKING
CONDITIONS AND TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
- This person will be expected to work both in office and onsite
as needed regardless of weather conditions in some cases up to 10
or 12 hour days as project load and seasonality demands
- Travel could be up to 85% dependent on project needsPHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the teammate will be
split between office work (20%) and actively working onsite (85%
during peak project/build season)
- Teammate has a high possibility of being on ladders to look at
roofs and storm related damage
- The teammate may need to lift up to 50 pounds. -This job
