Job Description:
Job Description Austin Hardware has done some shuffling of
people and need to add a person to their Buying Department. We need
a new team player that is dependable, analytical, strong attention
to details and either has a strong sense of urgency or might be
more routine and methodical. Either will be able to perform well in
this role. This position is REMOTE currently but that might change,
so you must live near our facility in Lee's Summit. The purpose of
the VMI Customer Service Administrator is to: Process VMI Customer
uploads for all Consigned and Non Consigned Accounts. This includes
communicating with the servicing plants to process sales orders and
transfers, send all order confirmations/special reporting/invoice
copies/advanced shipping notifications or other required documents
to customersMaintain close communication with the VMI customers via
e-mail or phone to resolve any problems. Maintain backorder report
to include adding backorders detail for each one and review reason
for backorder. Close backorders on non-consigned sales orders and
alert VMI Inventory Manager of urgent inventory issues that could
cause stock outs. Add parts to existing programs and populate
30/60/90 day review sheet. Manager & maintain system settings
Process Gap Analysis for new VMI programs through implementation.
Enter Sales Forecasts as required. Process Freight bill only
requests for prepay and add VMI accounts weekly. Process Consigned
Inventory Audits and maintain Audit tracking. Work with outside
sales and VMI Manager for final reconciliation. Assist with
quarterly report downloads and data pulls. Additional tasks as
