We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse like you to be a part of our team.The Life of an HCA NurseThe Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator works under the direct supervision of the Patient Safety Director (PSD). Duties include: compiling, analyzing and coordinating the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) processes and Patient Safety Initiatives across the organization. Providing assistance to the Medical staff and all hospital departments in implementing and sustaining their performance improvement processes. Collaborates with the PSD and department leaders to ensure resolution of each incident. Assists with responding to and follow up with the patient for all grievances, keeping in compliance with TJC and CMS standards.Responsibilities:
    • The PI Coordinator is responsible for organizing systematic activities that are implemented to monitor, assess and improve the quality of patient care provided at LSMC.
    • You will assist the Patient Safety Director in ensuring all patient concerns/complaints/grievances receive immediate communication and/or attention and follow-up is handled appropriately for maximum patient satisfaction.Qualifications
      • BSN Required
      • Must have a current MO RN license upon hire or a current multistate RN license. If only a multistate RN license is provided upon hire, a MO RN license will be required within 90 days of employment.
      • BLS required upon hire
      • Three (3) years of broad nursing experience required.
      • Prior experience with Microsoft Office; specifically Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet and database programs.
      • Project management experience preferred.
      • Familiarity with standards-of-care for all age groups.
      • Prior experience in performance improvement (PI) activities related to heath care/hospital setting preferred.Lee's Summit Medical Center serves Lee's Summit, Missouri, and surrounding areas.
