Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position,
requiring a compact or MO RN license and strong telemetry skills
for a night shift assignment. Responsibilities - Work in a
community hospital on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit - Night shifts,
3x12 hours, 18:45 - 07:15 - Patient ratio is 1:5 - Care includes
post-cath patients and telemetry monitoring - Must work 8 weekend
shifts within a 6-week scheduling period - Regular floating between
departments, units, and facilities may be required - Epic EMR is
used - Navy scrubs are required - Provide care for a mix of
med/surg telemetry and post-cath patients - Assignments may include
responsibility as Charge RN or holiday coverage as needed -
Orientation includes EMR training modules and additional required
modules to be completed prior to or during orientation - Maximum of
7 days of requested time off permitted during assignment - No
travel partners are allowed for this assignment - Free parking is
available for staff - First-time travelers are accepted and
encouraged to apply Requirements - Active MO or multistate compact
RN license in hand - Minimum of 2 years recent specialty
experience, with at least 1 year in Med/Surg Tele within the past
12 months and no employment gaps over 90 days - Current BLS and
NIHSS certifications - Proven skills in telemetry monitoring - No
pending licenses accepted; all credentials must be current at time
of consideration - Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
(locals not accepted) - Completion of required pre-employment drug
screening and lab work - Two professional references from the past
year, one from a supervisor or above and one can be from a charge
