Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:

Specialty/Telemetry nursing License: Active nursing license
required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in
telemetry, patient care for post-cath patients, ability to manage a
patient ratio of 1:5 Description: Specialty/Profession - Registered
Nurse (PCU/MI) Shifts are 3 x 12 hours on nights. The expected
patient ratio is 1 nurse to 5 patients. First-time travelers are
welcome to apply. Weekend requirements include 8 shifts in a 6-week
schedule period, with a combination of Friday, Saturday, and
Sunday. Skills required include telemetry monitoring, managing
various medical procedures and patient care protocols. Clinicians
may need to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and
facilities as needed. Holiday shifts and charge nurse assignments
may be necessary. Candidates should submit a clean drug screening
result. References are required from previous supervisory or charge
RN levels within the past year. Drug screening must comply with
industry standards and must be completed prior to starting the
position. All candidates should have experience in telemetry
nursing and be well-versed in the management of patient care. This
position involves working with adult and geriatric patients with
various medical conditions requiring specialized nursing care.
