license Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, NIHSS required
Must-Have: Wide variety of patient diagnoses, including
intermediate level of care, stroke, heart failure, respiratory
failure, pneumonia, syncope, TIA, falls, COVID, and Flu. Experience
with cardiac drips, hemodialysis management, and neurology patients
is essential. Description: The position requires a PCU Registered
Nurse. The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts per week.
Patient ratios will be 1:5. The RN will float within the scope of
practice as needed to meet facility needs. The role includes charge
RN assignments and holiday shifts as required. Weekend requirements
include eight weekend shifts within a six-week period, with a
combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The RN will be
responsible for cardiac monitoring, interpreting dysrhythmias, and
participating in rapid response teams. Responsibilities also
include pre and post-hemodialysis management and IV therapy
administration. Other skills required include wound care, isolation
precautions, and medication management. The RN will provide care to
a variety of adult and geriatric patients. Daily census in the unit
will be approximately 30 patients. The position may involve
collaborating with physical therapy, respiratory services, and
pharmacy among others. The nurse will need to complete all training
and compliance modules required for the role. A commitment to
maintain high standards of safety and patient care in a fast-paced
