Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Lees Summit, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,153 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Lees Summit, Missouri, 64063! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, NIH Stroke Scale certification Must-Have: Time management, IV start skills, patient experience skills Description: The position is in a 36-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:6 for both day and night shifts. Assistive staff includes a technician for every 10-12 patients. Equipment used includes Dynamap (WelchAllyn), telemetry with a screen at the nurses' station, and Alaris IV pumps. Documentation is done through a Meditech system. Scheduling requires working every other weekend. Floating policy requires first to float depending on competencies. Patient experience includes bedside shift report, hourly safety rounds with patients, AIDET, and personal connections with patients. No procedures requiring conscious sedation are performed on this unit. Dress code consists of charcoal gray top and bottom scrubs. The unit has a nursing turnover rate of 12% and employee engagement score of 84%.
