Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work in PCU (Progressive Care Unit) with 1:5 patient ratios • 2 years of experience and community hospital experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday) • Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed per unit • Regular floating may be required between departments, units and facilities • 16 hours of orientation provided • Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract • Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, CPI preferred • Navy scrub color required • EPIC charting system • Free parking provided • Must have Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact licenses • Locals within 75-mile radius not accepted • Maximum 7 days request time off • Care for patients with AMI, cardiac arrhythmia, heart failure, chest pain, vascular/PVD, sepsis, pneumonia, ETOH withdrawal, GI bleed • Manage pre/post cardiac catheterization patients and femoral line/groin site management • Work with telemetry equipment and cardiac monitoring • Handle IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, wound care Facility: This community hospital features 240 total staffed beds with a 16-bed ICU and 25-bed medical surgical telemetry unit. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac care services including cardiac catheterization procedures and advanced telemetry monitoring. The hospital offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
