Qualifications A specialized position that assist with care to the
obstetrical trauma patients in a patient/family centered approach,
in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
of the healthcare organization, as well as guidelines of
professional organizations. The RN Coord Trauma/Womens remains
available for all trauma activations and promptly available 24/7
(response times to reflect ACS standards 15 minutes for highest
tier activation, 30 minutes for second tier activation). The RN
will follow the patient throughout the hospital course (Trauma
Resuscitation bay, Radiology, OR, PACU, ICU). The RN Coord works in
conjunction with the Director of Trauma Services and Trauma Medical
Director to assist in providing quality care to an assigned group
of patients. Assists in identification of Performance Improvement
opportunities; creates clear action plans and initiates resolution
of Performance Improvement opportunities in coordination with the
trauma surgical staff, trauma program director, trauma medical
director and trauma liaisons. What qualifications you will need:
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of
employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained
within 30 days of employment start date Neonatal Resuscitation
Program must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 90 days of
employment start date (RN) Registered Nurse must be obtained within
90 days of employment start date Associate Degree Research Medical
