PTA license required Description: PTAs implement components of
patient care. They obtain data related to the treatments provided.
They collaborate with the physical therapist to modify care as
necessary. PTAs assist in the treatment of individuals of all ages,
from newborns to people at the end of life. They help patients
stretch and exercise certain muscle groups. They read instructions
from the physical therapist. PTAs work directly with the physical
therapist to assist patients. They speak with families to find the
best at-home techniques. PTAs help keep the physical therapy area
clean and organized. They move patients from wheelchairs or walkers
to the physical therapy area. PTAs complete administrative tasks,
like scheduling appointments and filing paperwork. They teach
patients techniques such as balance training. Requirements Required
