Job Description:
Job Description Job Title: Permanent Physician - Neonatology
Join a vibrant and affordable city in Topeka, Kansas, as a
full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist. You will be
part of a dedicated team of 5 physicians and Neonatal Nurse
Practitioners (NNPs) providing comprehensive care in a Level-III,
36-bed NICU. This facility offers excellent subspecialty support
and advanced neonatal services, making it an ideal location for
both professional growth and personal satisfaction. Job
Responsibilities: - Provide a full range of neonatal intensive care
services in a Level-III NICU with 36 beds and an average daily
census of 26 patients. - Manage advanced neonatal therapies
including High Frequency Ventilation, Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Total
Body Cooling, and amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG). - Collaborate
with subspecialty support teams including Cardiology, Neurology,
Ophthalmology, Hematology, and Endocrinology. - Work as part of a
multidisciplinary team including 5 neonatologists and Neonatal
Nurse Practitioners (NNPs). - Participate in patient care coverage
including potential call and weekend duties as per department
policy. - Engage with a community and hospital environment offering
excellent quality of life and professional opportunities.
Qualifications: - Open to Board Eligible and Board Certified
candidates in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. - Clean malpractice and
license history is highly preferred. - Most recent NPDB Self Query
Report (within the last 30 days active) is required at
presentation. License and Certification Requirements: - BC/BE
Neonatologist, Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine certification or
eligibility. - Kansas medical license (or willingness to obtain). -
DEA must be obtained prior to start. - Visa sponsorship available;
