Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our team at VA Medical Center in
Kansas City, Kansas in a full-time or locum tenens capacity.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of
professional nursing Currently registered with the Kansas State
Board of Nursing Must have at least one year of experience in an
area of placement within the past year Strong communication and
interpersonal skills Responsibilities: Perform independent
assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of all illnesses and trauma
Manage chronic health problems Perform physical exams, administer
indicated immunizations, prescribe medications, and provide counsel
and guidance to patients Order and interpret lab tests, X-rays,
