Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support early childhood programs at an elementary school in Kansas City, MO. This contract position will run from late March through late May, providing essential therapy services onsite at a well-established education center focused on early childhood development. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to young learners in a school setting Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Assess student needs and progress, documenting outcomes accurately Participate in team meetings to ensure integrated support for students Provide guidance on adaptive techniques and assistive technologies to enhance student participation Desired Qualifications and Experience: Current Occupational Therapy licensure in Missouri Experience working within school environments, preferably with early childhood or elementary age students Strong understanding of pediatric therapy techniques and developmental milestones Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educational staff and families Ability to maintain detailed records in compliance with educational and healthcare standards Location: Onsite at an elementary education center in Kansas City, MO Contract Details: Start Date: March 26, 2026 End Date: May 22, 2026 Hours: 35 per week This contract offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in childrens educational progress during a critical developmental period.
