health system, is searching for an experienced Cardiothoracic
Surgery Physician Assistant to serve as a First Assist in
cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgeries, perform endoscopic vein
harvesting, round in hospital pre and post-surgery, and follow-up
clinic visits at our AdventHealth Shawnee Mission location located
in the Kansas City Metro area. About our Employed Cardiovascular group consists
of: Employment Details AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, located in Merriam, Kansas, is a
504-bed acute care hospital serving the Kansas City metro area,
particularly Johnson County. Formerly Shawnee Mission Medical
Center, it joined the AdventHealth network in 2002, guided by a
mission to provide faith-based, whole-person care that nurtures
physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Established in 1962, the
hospital has deep roots in the community, originating from a
collaboration between local leaders, the Johnson County Medical
Society, and the New Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church to meet the
