Job Description Basic Function and Scope of Responsibility: This position supports the company by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives. Build and maintain influential relationships by being a strategic partner with management and an advocate for employees. Provide guidance on employment law, coordinate performance management, and resolve employee relations issues. Provides advanced level guidance on human resources policies and procedures such as payroll, benefits, compensation, employee development, and recruiting This is afull time position, scheduled forMonday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PMwith overtime as needed. Please note we are moving to a new facility in February 2022and this position will be relocated to Lenexa, KS. Essential Job Duties:

  • Consult with internal leadership to help identify and resolve employee relations matters
  • Partner with HR Manager on highly complex employee relations matters and internal investigations
  • Anticipate how dynamic change may impact staff and recommend solutions to minimize disruptions in the workplace
  • Participate in or lead various projects, including annual processes such as merit/bonus compensation, market compensation review, performance reviews, open enrollment, training programs, etc.
  • Research and develop new programs or initiatives to meet the business needs
  • Analyze program information and prepare well-informed recommendations, or decisions as appropriate
  • Co-facilitate leadership training and development programs
  • Assist in developing and delivering associate training programs
  • Assist in implementing human resources change initiatives
  • Develop relationships with all levels of leadership and our supporting divisions of human resources at our National Service Center
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning by mentoring and training others and by participating in continuing education and training programs
  • Represent department favorably and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes at all times
  • Actively participate in team and company meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a broad scope of responsibility in multiple areas of human resources (strong preference to employee relations and compensation experience)
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology or other related field required or equivalent relevant work experience
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
    • Advanced level of knowledge of HR operations, administration, legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
    • Demonstrates strong initiative and self-motivation
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to weigh a variety of factors and present them in a concise weigh that impacts decision support
    • Goal-oriented, with excellent time management, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with people at all levels in the organization
    • Desire and ability to work in a collaborative environment with many integrated processes; ability to see connections and how one's work impacts others;
    • Highly adaptive to change; participates in and supports process improvement
    • Displays strong ethics and composure particularly when interacting with either internal or external clients/customers.
    • Ability to manage highly sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

      • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
      • Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
      • Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
