While we--invest in and develop technology to drive our innovations,--our--ongoing success--relies on our people.--JOB SUMMARY:The primary purpose of this position is to verify and check the statuses of requested medical records.-- This position is responsible for contributing to and monitoring the daily workflow of the area.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 30% Receive and make calls to clients and applicants when necessary.-- Receive and send emails to clients and applicants when necessary.
  • 20%--Provide assistance and information to production employees when needed to complete the APS.
  • 15%--Responsible for auditing/monitoring the staffs work on a monthly basis.-- Audit the output of the mailroom staff on a daily basis.-- Audit/monitor the staff at the India vendors.
  • 10%--Prepare weekly/monthly reports for clients.
  • 5%--Resolve/handle canceled checks/voids/reissues.-- Send copies of cleared checks when necessary.
  • 5%--Resolve/handle the invoices that are over the fee limit of the client, process invoices from Dr/facilities.
  • 5%--Responsible for the reconciliation of credit card transactions & reconciling the copy services statements (Datafied/HealthPort).
  • 5%--Set up agents/carriers/brokers on the APS website for ordering and downloading records.
  • 5%--Gather and send production results for India vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Observes all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Quest Diagnostics Safety Manual or safety matters included in other special training.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES:-- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.REVIEWS AND APPROVALS: List the typical decisions that this position is required to make.-- Please indicate what kinds of constraints, policies and procedures are placed on decision-making.Examples of decisions that can be taken without conferring with supervisor.
    • Decision to close a case such as a duplicate
    • Decision to stop the time service
    • Decision to call requestor to obtain approval for pre-payments
    • Decision to contact client and/or applicant for additional informationExamples of decisions that can be taken only after conferring with supervisor.Decisions other than the above, must be brought to the attention of the supervisorJOB REQUIREMENTS:Education and/or Experience:
      • High School Diploma or equivalent plus three months experience in a call center or customer service environment.
      • Minimum Skills Required
      • Strong communication skills
      • Good work attendance record
      • Ability to work in a team environment
