Job Description:

Summary This role provides strategic business partner consultation and compensation and benefit technical expertise in the development, implementation, administration and communication of total rewards programs and projects in support of GEHA---s Total Reward philosophies and business priorities. This position plays a lead role in developing and delivering total reward programs that are attractive to employees, competitive with market, cost-effective and in compliance with all applicable regulations. This role will be primarily responsible for base and variable pay programs. Duties -- Contributes to the development of the long-term total rewards strategy, leveraging best practice (benchmarking, surveys, etc), employee engagement, cost, etc. -- In collaboration with leadership, Finance and Communications, leads projects, develops business case and presentation materials for evolving total rewards plans, ensuring alignment with GEHA---s values and business strategy. -- In partnership with Communications and vendors, develops and delivers communications that will increase employee understanding and engagement. Delivers communications in multiple modes and at key moments (onboarding, enrollment, annual contribution, etc.) -- Manages some of the larger total rewards vendors. Provides oversight on vendor performance, ensuring they are delivering a positive employee experience, and costs / services are consistent with the agreement. Project manage and lead RFPs. -- Leads the planning and execution of the market pricing, annual merit cycle and incentive payout process. May lead the planning and execution of other major annual processes (annual enrollment, annual contribution). -- Working with the business, develops and administers variable pay programs aligned with business goals. -- Lead processes to ensure internal and external market equity, and ensure programs are operated in accordance with all applicable laws. -- Consults with HR partners and managers on compensation and job evaluations to ensure the consistent application of philosophy, policies, and practices. Ensures the appropriate documentation, market pricing, classification and set up of jobs. -- Oversees compensation analysis, budgeting and forecasting for base and variable compensation. Provides detailed compensation research and analytics in support of compensation projects and metrics. -- Stays up to date on legislative developments and identifies plans to proactively address changing legislation. -- Identifies and implements process improvements to ensure programs are being administered as efficiently as possible.
