Salary Rate Range:
Position Type: Full Time
Expected Hours of Work: 10 AM CT to 7 PM CT, Monday thru Friday;
additional time outside these hours may be required
Reports to: Payment Processing Manager
Location: Lee's Summit/Hybrid
Summary/Objective
The Payment Processing Analyst will be responsible for
compiling/analyzing a variety of daily, monthly, and quarterly
reports. Candidate will also review tools and reports for anomalous
activity and handle dispute processes related to ACHs, checks,
debit card, and credit reporting. Candidate must perform all tasks
with a high degree of accuracy and according to mandated timelines.
Candidate will also support other Lead Bankers and bank
clients.
Essential Functions
- Complete monthly management reports in a timely and accurate
manner. Reports will be presented to a bank-designated
committee on a periodic basis
- Assist in daily general ledger balancing
- Review fraudulent/unauthorized claims from clients, consumers,
other RDFI, etc. and respond appropriately within specific
timeframe
- Review reports to ensure proper documentation was obtained by
both internal and external sources
- Monitor systems for unusual/unexplained online and mobile banking
activity
- Assist with charging fees/applying exchange rates for foreign
items
- Complete reporting and manual entry of fees or fee discounts
- Assist with preparations for periodic audits and risk assessments
for the department (ACH, wire, RDC)
- Compile and send daily reports to clients as needed
- Complete reconciliation related to armored car cash deposits and
complete entries
- Process research requests from branches and clients
- Provide excellent client support to both internal and external
clients
- Performs other duties as assigned

Travel
- Training in Lee's Summit, MO, monthly collaboration days in Lee's
Summit, MO; periodic travel to other Lead Bank branches & client
locations; and some overnight travel to conferences
Required Education and Experience
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft office product suite (Word,
Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe)
Preferred Education and Experience
In addition to above education and experience:
- 1 year payment processing, frontline, or bank operations
experience
